LOTLab: Ultrasonic Journeys

Ultrasonic Journeys is an experiential lab led by Will Lopes and sound engineer Philipp Hovorka, taking place at Das LOT in Vienna. The project explores body and space resonances through deep bass frequencies, aiming to activate proprioceptive awareness and the perception of the body as a vibrating field.

The sound installation will be configured in a 360° or 4.2 surround system, creating an immersive acoustic environment where sound, body, and architecture merge as one pulsating organism.

The session begins with guided meditation and deep relaxation, leading participants into subtle inner states from which organic, spontaneous movements arise. Gradually, the soundscape evolves from sensitive sonic landscapes and soft acoustic atmospheres into rhythmic layers, guiding the experience toward a state of free dance inspired by club culture.
