LOTLab: Sticking together when falling apart

Feeling some kind of way? Falling apart and can’t quite put it into coherent sentences? So are we. 

Join us at Lot:Lab for a collective experimental poetry session beyond the everyday norms of spoken word. Together we will attempt to do justice to the abstract physicality of our complex emotional states beyond what the straitjacket of grammatical formality could ever hope to achieve; Collaboratively, we will attempt to generate meaning through the artistic rearrangement of syntax; By means of synergy, we might hope to find cathartic modes of expression suited to our most elusive dreams and our most looming fears.

Texts will be created like associative puzzles based on the principle of fridge magnet poems: passages from magazines are cut into suitable pieces and not only reconfigured, but co-configured. Choose from existing fragments, hunt for your own in the provided material, or bring texts from your own collection.
