DUCTAPE 

Formed in 2019 in Istanbul and currently based in Ankara, Ductape is a darkwave/postpunk duo which have quickly established themselves as an outstanding act in their scene, extensively touring major venues and festivals in more than 30 countries in Western Europe and Latin America. For the first time this year, the band will perform also in the USA, and many cities in Eastern Europe where they have not played before, to meet more of their fans and to present their music to wider audiences.

Even though broadly situating themselves in the darkwave genre, Ductape is an eclectic band drawing inspiration from a variety of styles. The distinctive guitar playing of Furkan Güleray, who also has a background in psychedelic punk and post-rock, adds a characteristic signature to their works, complemented by Çağla Güleray's live synth and her deep vocals, sung in English and Turkish, backed by a strong electronic rhythm section.
