Ex Machinis Musicae & Friends

Ex Machinis Musicae is an experimental and transdisciplinary art collective. Our performances are immersive audio-visual experiences. By combining digital and analog media, we try to create new forms of sound and image experiences. We use these hybrid technologies to generate new acoustic soundscapes and for audio-reactive visualizations. A rhizomatic network of multiple relationships emerges: image reacts to sound and movement, sound reacts to movement, movement reacts to image and sound - all influence each other. Experimental music, dance and visuals collide to create an immersive performance created over the course of a two-week residency at LOT.
