ECHOJam Vol 3: Field Recording meets Producing

LOTLab, which was launched as an incubator for new formats, has given birth to its first edition: the ECHOJam, a series of regular jams from all possible disciplines culminating in a final transdisciplinary jam session.

About
Our third edition of ECHOJam combines field recording with music production, but with a twist. The Participants will walk around at the Area of LOT for 45 minutes, and record everything they want. Back at LOT, the Devices will be collected, and handed out again to a different person than before. so nobody should have the sounds they recorded. Now, there is 1 hour to produce anything with it. A beat, soundscapes, or if you are fast enough, even a finished song. The Idea is to work with only the recorded sounds. Of course you can add Effects and do whatever you want with it, but try not to use any Software Presets/Synthesizers/Sounds. After this whole process, the participants can present their ‘finished’ Product to the others. Of course, all the sounds will be collected afterwards and handed out to everybody.
